Motorhomes have a bad reputation for being tacky vacation vehicles for retirees in bucket hats, but these super high-end motorcoaches disprove that theory with their marble floors, Jacuzzis, roof decks and Swarovski crystal ceilings. Suddenly, a monthlong road trip doesn’t sound so bad after all.
2017 Foretravel Motorcoach IH 45 Quad Slide
Foretravel’s latest model will have you cruising down the highway in a 45-foot fiery red vehicle with a much tamer interior, thankfully. The inside has a sleek look with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood cabinetry and LED lighting. You’ll feel right at home thanks to the surround sound stereo system, king bed, and full-sized refrigerator. We highly recommend customizing it with a fireplace and washer/dryer.
Newmar King Aire
In this ride, the driver comes first, which is why they get leather seats and an 11-speaker, 360-watt custom-tuned JBL premium cockpit audio system. Everyone else gets an interior decorated with exclusive fabrics from the Ralph Lauren Home Collection and a Bose Cinemate Home Theater System. Most importantly, the Newmar King Aire is perfect for a parked-party, thanks to two Girard Nova power side awnings with wind sensors and LED lighting, and an exterior entertainment center that includes a 40” Sony LED TV and Bluetooth-compatible JBL soundbar. Inside, you’ll find porcelain-tiled floors below and a cathedral ceiling above. You’ll never know you’re on the road thanks to the King-size Sleep Number adjustable bed and massaging shower.
eleMMent Palazzo Superior
One of the only RVs out there that doesn’t look tacky from the outside, the eleMMent Palazzo Superior’s design was inspired by sports cars and features a panoramic, helicopter-like windshield. It kind of looks like a Cyclops on wheels going to fashion week. The interior is just as stylish, with hand-cut wooden flooring, marble countertops, and a drop-down staircase that leads to the vehicle’s upper deck. Yep, you read that right; this motorhome has a roof deck with lounge furniture and floor heating. That’s not all; the master bedroom features a king-size bed made by the same company that supplies beds to the British royal family and a “spa area” with a rain shower and light therapy, whatever that is.
Millennium Luxury Coach
Dubbed as “smart coaches,” these RVs allow you to easily operate the coach from one device. While it’s one of the most technologically modern rides out there, the décor has an Old World European feel, appealing to a classic traveler, with antique knobs and Italian poplar cabinets, a bidet, tufted jewel-toned furniture, and a mirrored ceiling.
Featherlite Vantare Platinum Plus
The Featherlite Vantare Platinum Plus has custom made sculptures, a ceiling filled with Swarovski crystals, and a garage for those you can’t part with their sports cars. The bedroom comes with a king bed and the bathroom fixtures were imported from France. If you need to stretch your legs after a long day of driving, hop on the built-in treadmill.
While this German motorhome has a lovely bedroom and bathroom, it’s what you will find above and below that stand out. Not only does the Futuria Sports+Spa have a 36-foot roof deck, on that rooftop you’ll find a Jacuzzi. And below the living area is a garage for your sports car. It also features a fog machine, because, no road trip is complete without a little man-made mystery, right?
Amphibious CAMI Terra Wind
For those who can’t decide between boat and coach, CAMI says, go with both. The 42.5-foot Terra Wind is a yacht and RV combined, with two 13-foot-long pontoons to keep it afloat in the water. Don’t worry, its multifunctional design also comes with comfort. Inside you’ll find granite countertops, marble tile floors, teak cabinets, and a washer/dryer. Of course, the back has a six-foot flip-down diving platform and cleats to secure other watercrafts like jet skis. And, there’s the Jacuzzi, because, the ocean isn’t always warm and bubbly.
