The Lower East Side is one of Manhattan’s most exciting neighborhoods, and its latest destination hotel fits right in. Hotel Indigo Lower East Side[1] is home to 293 guest rooms, drawing visitors who are looking to experience the neighborhood’s creative energy and indulge in the hotel’s own lively lobby scene, breathtaking views and exciting nightlife options. Here, General Manager Tania Getzova fills us in on the most requested room in the hotel.
Most requested room:
The most popular room type is the Grand Deluxe King corner room, situated on floors 16 to 20.
What makes it so special:
The breathtaking view over downtown Manhattan and the Liberty Tower. The floor-to-ceiling windows offers a grand view that connects guests to the city.
The rate:
Rates varies from the high $200s to the high $400s depending on the season and day of the week.
Your personal favorite:
I love our one bedroom terrace suites. My favorite is room 2101.
Because…
It has the same amazing view over lower Manhattan. The large open space is 614 square ft and is one of our well-appointed suites with stunning city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows and the breathtaking terrace that has lounge furniture and plants to make it feel like home. The spacious bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower is also very enjoyable.
Celebrity guests:
We’ve hosted famous soccer players and NBA players, models including Shaun Ross and actresses from series including Girls and Blindspot. We also hosted a Martin Scorsese movie premiere—with Bradley Cooper in attendance—at our 15th floor bar Mr. Purple.
Fun fact:
We have a Graffiti Concierge on site who is able to direct guests on the right path to witness iconic pieces of street art on the ever-changing walls that serve as a canvas to local and international artists alike.
