A Flying Safari Across Kenya

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Academy Award-winning film Out of Africa, Finch Hattons[1]—a luxury tented camp[2] in Tsavo West National Park, Kenya—and Sir Richard Branson’s Mahali Mzuri[3] camp in the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve have organized a specially tailored flying safari package called “I Had a Farm in Africa.”

The eight-day tour begins at Finch Hattons where travelers will journey through the Kenyan terrain and see red elephants, giraffes, zebras, elands, buffalos, lions and more exotic animals. Afterwards, guests can unwind with yoga classes overlooking the Chyulu Hills, indulge in Finch Hattons’ spa services and take a dip in the camp’s infinity pool[4], which offers impeccable views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The next stop (via private air charter) is Mahali Mzuri, where activities include a trip to a local market, a hot air balloon ride and even the possibility of witnessing the Great Migration, which journeys through Tanzania and Kenya.

The “I Had a Farm in Africa” Flying Safari includes full board accommodations, game drives, transfers to and from the camps and all domestic flights. Prices begin at $5,977 per person.
