Each week for The DuJour 5×5, we ask five editors five questions on a different topic. For this week’s installment on beating the post-holiday blues, five editors share how they’re planning to detox, their must-have winter products and what they’re excited to try in 2014.

1. Over the holidays, I regret overindulging in: Champagne. Seriously, I can’t even look at a bottle.
2. My plan for post-holiday detox involves: Cutting back on calories by resolving to bring lunch to work four days a week, saving calorie-heavy takeout for a Friday treat instead of an every day occurrence.
3. The one product I couldn’t survive the winter without: Origins Ginger Souffle whipped body cream, which I keep both at home and at work to battle mid-day winter dryness.
4. This year, I’m eager to: try taking some art classes so I can get back in touch with my creative side.
5. Something I read this week that enlightened me: Adam Gopnik’s “Two Ships” in last week’s issue of the New Yorker, about the Titanic and her lesser-known sister ship the Olympic, and our human propensity to remember only the disastrous and forget the ordinary.

2. My plan for post-holiday detox involves: Cups of green tea and more sleep.
3. The one product I couldn’t survive the winter without: Tsubaki beauty oil by Boscia. This face oil really keeps my skin hydrated, especially during cold winter months.
4. This year, I’m eager to: Try paddleboard yoga.
5. Something I read this week that enlightened me: It came from this mug on Instagram. The health rules seem simple enough to try so I saved the image on my phone as my new mantra for 2014.
