Each week for The DuJour 5×5, we ask five editors five questions on a different topic. This week’s installment covers all things transportation: Read on for our staffers’ in-flight cocktail preferences and NYC cab gripes.

1. The last place I flew to was Mexico for a short but sweet getaway in Tulum. And my next trip will probably be either Louisville for the Kentucky Derby or San Francisco for 4th of July.
2. Glass of wine or cocktail on the flight—Do or Don’t: DO! One (sometimes two) glasses (mini bottles) of whatever red wine they have.
3. I take the G > 7 > 6 to the office, and 3 things that happen without fail on my morning commute include: Untangle headphones for 2-10 minutes. Watch in awe as people work on embroideries and drink coffee out of mason jars (#Brooklyn). Email myself Twitter links that I’ll never look at again.
4. My first (and last) car was: A black jeep on its last legs, handed down from my older sis.
5. The cab experience that will haunt me forever: Every time I take an über and see the damage days later.

1. The last place I flew to was London for vacation. And my next trip will probably be somewhere with a beach (hopefully).
2. Glass of wine or cocktail on the flight—Do or Don’t: Wine.
3. I take a couple of trains to the office, and 3 things that happen without fail on my morning commute include: “This train will now be going express for no apparent reason”; when the conductor decides to take the “scenic route” over the bridge and stops every few feet; someone putting on a full face of makeup—eyeliner included—on a shaky train.
4. My first car was: I’ve never owned a car!
5. The cab experience that will haunt me forever: During a snowstorm, and the cab was zigzagging up Madison Avenue. I thought for sure we were going to crash through a store window.

1. The last place I flew to was Cartagena, Colombia for my cousin’s wedding. And my next trip is Montreal this weekend.
2. Glass of wine or cocktail on the flight—Do or Don’t: Don’t. (It was a 8 a.m. flight!)
3. I take the 6 train to the office, and 3 things that happen without fail on my morning commute include: Pushing my way onto a train, being stuffed into someone’s armpit on a crowded car and praying for a seat as I juggle my iced coffee and gym bag.
4. My first car was: An Audi A4 in college.
5. The cab experience that will haunt me forever: I’m haunted daily by drivers who don’t know their way around the city. Drives me batty.

1. The last place I flew to was Chicago for a quick weekend getaway. And my next trip will probably be somewhere warmer than Chicago.
2. Glass of wine or cocktail on the flight—Do or Don’t: I’m almost always asleep before we even take off, so unless it’s an international flight I’ll stick with water.
3. I take the subway to the office, and 3 things that happen without fail on my morning commute include: My commute is hardly that memorable. I’ve usually got my nose in a book.
4. My first car was: An old minivan that I roughed up with a skull-and-crossbones bumper sticker.
5. The cab experience that will haunt me forever: Haunt me forever? Jeez, I don’t know if I’ve had that experience yet.

1. The last place I flew to was North Carolina for a wedding. And my next trip will probably be to North Carolina, for a wedding. It’s just that joyous time of year.
2. Glass of wine or cocktail on the flight—Do or Don’t: Do, duh! Sauvignon Blanc gives you (extra) wings
3. I take the L and then the 6 train to the office, and 3 things that happen without fail on my morning commute include: Someone spilling their coffee on someone else’s combat boot, someone not realizing how loud their Rent soundtrack is playing through their headphones (okay, that’s sometimes me), and someone losing it over the fact that they cannot lope freely through the passages of Union Square at morning rush hour.
4. My first car was: A blue ’89 Ford Explorer.
5. The cab experience that will haunt me forever: That fateful drive over the Williamsburg Bridge when my cab driver decided it was the right time to initiate a no-pants party. I made it abundantly clear I would not be attending.
