Roll out the red carpet—it’s finally Oscars weekend. Time to obsess over who our favorite celebrities are wearing, which nominees will win big for their performances, and where the winners (and losers) will be stylishly partying after the awards show. Like most of us, you’ll probably be assembling your squad this Sunday for an intimate viewing soirée featuring a few libations such as the Hollywood Highball. At this year’s 92nd Oscars Governors Ball, the official post-celebration of the Academy Awards, this signature cocktail will be sipped by A-listers galore. Cue the round of applause.
Starring in this highly anticipated libation is Tequila Don Julio 70, which has the likeness of an aged, añejo tequila and the smoothness of a Blanco tequila. The highball showcases notes of coconut and fruit paired with a strong, nutty finish for a taste that’s as alluring as it is refreshing. Bartender Charles Joly, creator of the concoction, recommends that the beverage be served long with a touch of effervescence.
