Want to travel in your new, very eco-friendly Tesla car but don’t know where to charge it? You’ll soon be able to do just that at 30 luxurious Airbnb properties along the West Coast. Airbnb aims to alleviate the constraint faced by many Tesla drivers—finding themselves limited in the distance they can travel due to the car’s battery charge—allowing drivers greater freedom when taking road trips.
Guests can access the charger by booking a stay at the equipped property, and Airbnb hosts interested in adding a Tesla charger can sign up to check for their eligibility to receive charging equipment. This is just the first step in a long-term collaboration between the community-based housing marketplace and the premium electric vehicle manufacturer. So, stay charged up—pun intended.
Travelers can look at some of the properties that offer free Tesla charging stations here.
