From the intensifying of the presidential race to the still-unfolding Eurozone crisis, from the loss of icons like Phyllis Diller and Neil Armstrong to the toppling of Lance Armstrong, what’s usually a sleepy season in the sun has been quite eventful. So, as Labor Day arrives and fall unofficially begins, let’s lift one last glass of rose and toast 14 things that we are leaving behind.
