An artful arrangement boasting dozens of RIMOWA’s most rare and coveted luggage pieces is on display at Sotheby’s. Set against a sleek backdrop that mirrors the brand’s signature aluminum look, the “RIMOWA Archive Collection 1898 – 2019” is the first-ever historical exhibition exploring RIMOWA’s 121-year contribution to the culture of travel.
From vintage wardrobe trunks and sticker-covered suitcases to the famous Gold Attaché (carried by some of Hollywood’s greatest movie villains), the collection offers guests a special look at pieces from private collections around the globe.
Featured alongside the newly launched Essential Lite in Pearl Rose is a stylish parade of contemporary releases by Off-White’s Virgil Abloh, Dior, Supreme, and artist Daniel Arsham.
The collection will be open to the public at Sotheby’s New York from September 20th – 25th, 2019.
