After years of holding court on a bustling West Village corner, Italian boite, Rosemary’s, has opened a second location in Gramercy. The airy, open-plan 270 seat outpost features a vast outdoor dining space that accommodates 100. Seasonal pastas, sourdough pizzas and vegetables are on offer and favorites include the cacio e pepe pizza, burrata and an all-Italian wine list with plenty of bottle options under $40. The hospitality group, founded by Casa Nela restaurateur Carlos Suarez, also runs Bobo, Claudette and Roey’s downtown.

Ai Fiori Sky Terrace
Midtown restaurant Ai Fiori has opened their new outdoor Sky Terrace on the eleventh floor of the Langham Hotel with the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building as your dining backdrop. Menu highlights include an artichoke and spinach lasagna with béchamel, ricotta and pecorino and bass tartare with lime, mint, Calabrian chili and white verjus and a signature Fiori Burger featuring tomato jam, dijonnaise, fontina cheese, Spanish onion and crispy bliss potatoes. An array of wines and special cocktails like the Blossom Punch are also on offer.

Scarpetta
Scarpetta recently expanded onto Madison Avenue with a beautiful new, outdoor dining space. Scarpetta’s outdoor space is in full bloom nightly as well as on Sundays during its new Summer Outdoor Brunch series, featuring NYC’s Pop Up Florist, the go-to florist for fashion brands such as Gucci and Prada. Along with their choice of cocktail, brunch entree and dessert, customers will leave with a fresh Pop Up Florist bouquet. The Lobster Tagliolini Nero is a must-have and, if you need even more convincing, Scarpetta will donate $1 for every spaghetti purchased to the Food Education Fund.

Baba Cool
Restaurateur Gabi Mann is bringing her much loved Fort Greene restaurant Baba Cool to North Williamsburg with the opening of her second location. With its laid-back vibe, this all-day dining spot features new offerings like natural wine on tap, extended hours and a late-night bites menu. The new space is an airy 36 seat restaurant with a magical outdoor garden full of luscious greenery and seating for an additional 30 guests. The 1,200-square-foot outdoor garden offers a welcome respite in the heart of Brooklyn and is peppered with lush vegetation. In addition to the signature breakfast sandwiches, coffee drinks, bowls, salads and craft cocktails, there are new menu items like crispy ginger fried chicken wings, whipped ricotta with honey and fresh herbs and ice cream sandwiches.
