Two Islamorada natives opened Village Square at the Trading Post, a retail and dining compound with a charming tropical garden for events. They transformed one of their childhood homes on the secluded property into uCúmbe lifestyle store. Pick up Turkish towels for the beach and avocado-scented soaps. For a “reel” souvenir, a local designer hand weaves baskets from recycled rope and adorns them with fishing tackle.
