Inspired by Best Picture Nominee, Dunkirk

Named after the navy vessel in Dunkirk, this Moonstone cocktail is reminiscent of the menacing dark ocean waves seen in the Best Picture Nominee. Created by Christian Villalta, Root and Square Root.

Ingredients:
1 ½ parts Maker's 46
½ part House-made Black Sesame Orgeat
1 Lime
13 dashes Angostura Bitters
Pinch of Activated Charcoal
Jasmine Flower, optional garnish

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice; strain into a coup over ice and add Jasmine flower for garnish.

Favored by Hollywood legends since the 1920s, this perfectly balanced cocktail was inspired by Best Actress Nominee Meryl Streep for her role in The Post because Streep is truly a Hollywood legend.

Ingredients:
3/4 oz. Cointreau
1 1/2 oz. Rémy Martin VSOP cognac
3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Wet rim with lemon and press into sugar. Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Inspired by Best Picture Nominee, Get Out

The perfect sweet then sour cocktail reminds us how Chris’ weekend turned out in Get Out... but this one is delicious. Created by Masa Urushido of Saxon + Parole.

Ingredients:
2 parts espresso-infused Sugar Island Spiced Rum*
½ part ginger beer
½ part fresh lime juice
Candied ginger for garnish

Preparation: Shake espresso or coffee-infused Sugar Island Spiced Rum and lime juice over ice and strain into a Collins glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wheel and candied ginger.

*Espresso-infused spiced rum: Mix ¼ cup of ground espresso or coffee with room temperature Sugar Island Spiced Rum. Let the mixture soak for 30 minutes. Strain and set aside.

The crime thriller focuses on a kidnapping where Christopher Plummer plays the victim's billionaire grandfather, J. Paul Getty. In honor of his wealthy role, we suggest this green-like-money cocktail.

Ingredients:
2 Parts Absolut Citron
1 Part Wheatgrass
.5 Parts Lime
.25 Parts Agave Nectar
2-3 Mint Leaves

Preparation: Shake all ingredients and strain into a short rocks glass with no ice. Garnish with a sliced watermelon radish.

1 oz. Basil Hayden
1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Antica

Preparation: Build in mixing glass, add ice, stir and strain over fresh ice in rocks glass. Garnish with double orange peel.

In honor of taking something and making it better, seen in the case of the Disaster Artist, Tullamore D.E.W. Ambassador Tim Herlihy has taken a classic Old Fashioned and made it a little more interesting with Tullamore’s Cider Cask.

Ingredients:
2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Cider Cask
.75 parts Drambuie
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Orange Bitters

Preparation: Add all ingredients into a mixing glass, strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

The film is described as a fairytale with the twist of classic monster movie, so The Roof put a spin on a classic cocktail (Cosmopolitan) by making it clear like water. Courtesy of The Roof.

1.5 oz. Titos
.5 oz. Cointreau
.25 oz. white cranberry juice
.25 oz. lemon juice
.25 oz. simple syrup

Preparation: Build in shaker, add ice, strain in coup glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

This cocktail beats to the sound of its own drum, just like Saoirse Ronan in Lady Bird. We love the brandied cherries for garnish, they’re literally the cherry on top of an already delicious drink! 

  Ingredients:
1.5 oz. The Botanist Gin
.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
.50 oz. Maraschino Liqueur
.25 oz Crème de violette
Brandied cherries for garnish
 
 Preparation: In shaker, add all ingredients with ice. Shake and fine strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a brandied cherry

Inspired by Best Actress in a Supporting Role Nominee Allison Janney, I, Tonya

Allison Janney's character in I, Tonya is just as icy as the rink Tonya Harding skated on. That's why this cocktail is inspired by her role, topped with white wine and Triple Sec, it's a sweet and sour drink.

Ingredients:
1.5oz Tequila Avión Silver
1.5oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
1oz White Wine
1oz Triple Sec or Peach/Apricot Liqueur

Preparation: Combine ingredients in a shaker tin, add ice, shake, and strain into a double rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with fresh pineapple slices, and expressed orange peel.
