“It moves me every time I go here because it demonstrates so much of what we’re trying to focus people on—the idea that nature is art and that architecture can be very elemental, but still incredibly beautiful and reductive. There’s a tendency these days to create dazzling forms and architectural bravado and we’re a big believer that the architecture can be silent, yet simultaneously be powerful and monumental.”
