The Best Cocktails for Mother's Day Brunch
Toast the leading lady in your life with these light and refreshing drinks

Bloody Mariko
(served at Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya)
3 oz. Tomato juice
2 oz. Iichikoshochu (may substitute vodka)
¼-½ tsp. White miso paste
¼ tsp. Horseradish
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Sriracha hot sauce
2 dashes Shichimi pepper
Mix tomato juice with all ingredients except Iichikoshochu (or vodka). Mix until well integrated. Rim glass with shichimi pepper, add shochu vodka and pour over ice. Garnish with pickled burdock or your favorite pickled vegetable.
