“I wore that Stella jumpsuit to her presentation two years ago in London. We actually did a flash mob dance that no one knew about. All these professional dancers had choreographed a flash mob with actors, models and personalities. In the middle of this big dinner party, all of a sudden the music came on and everyone got up and started dancing on the tables. It was really cool.”

"The Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion" Costume Institute Gala
May 2009

“Because it was ‘Model as Muse’ and we were all in the exhibit, I really wanted to feel like myself. So I found that vintage Galanos dress. He’s an American designer, and it felt appropriate to be in an American gown because I’m an American model. And I wanted vintage because nobody else would be wearing anything like it. It was chartreuse. I thought it just looked really beautiful and I wanted to feel sexy and glamorous, so that was the look I went for.”

“The metallic gown is Versace couture. I wore that to the Met Superhero Gala. I was with David Yurman at the time so all of the jewelry is Yurman. I picked that dress because it was a tough theme and I thought that dress was kind of ‘hero-ish.’ The back was all open. It was a dope dress.”
