7:00 AM: I start every day with my daughter, Daisy. We have breakfast together and we “talk” about whatever is on our mind and about the day ahead. My favorite breakfast is a Gluten-Free English Muffin with avocado, tomato, olive oil and sea salt. Daisy’s favorite breakfast is avocado toast.
9:00 AM: Hair and makeup arrived first to start setting up for today's photo shoot. These under eye patches are a great little trick for catching eyeshadow fallout so that I can de-puff and hydrate my under eye area, while also making cleaning up a smokey eye super easy! I am wearing our new foundation, Conseal the Deal, in the shade Sandalwood. What I love so much about this foundation is how light and serum-y it is in consistency. It feels completely invisible and weightless on the skin but delivers all the coverage you would expect from a high medium-to-full coverage foundation. The formula also lasts all day, which is perfect for a day like today.
10:00 AM: Shooting the first photo for Lawless Beauty! This is a close-up image and the angle is straight-on to be used in stores on our fixtures for our holiday collection. For shots like this, my outfit is not important but the lighting and angle are key in getting a very tight, macro makeup shot for retail purposes.
12:00 PM: I am drinking a much-needed cold brew almond milk latte and had a Greek lentil pasta salad with tahini dressing for lunch.
12:15 PM: Changing the lip for the next shot. I am wearing Forget The Filler Definer Liner in Honey Rose and Forget The Filler Lip Plumping Line Smoothing Gloss in Daisy Pink. I love this combo!
1:00 PM: I love seeing the water in the background of this photo because we are shooting at my home. Living at the beach is really special to me and we have built our lives around the beach culture. My daughter will grow up here and we take her in the ocean every night. To be able to weave that into this shoot and bring what I am passionate about together – my family life and my brand – is so grounding for me.
3:00 PM: Had to save the best and most glam shot for last! I love any excuse to wear a gorgeous dress and full glam makeup. This is me in my element.
6:00 PM: At the beach with Daisy and Jeff is the definition of my perfect evening – barefoot in the sand with my two favorite people at the end of a beautiful day that capped off a truly incredible week!
