“A story. A memory. A moment sealed in time.” That is how Linda Johnson Rice, chairman of Johnson Publishing Company—publisher of  EBONY and JET magazines—describes the EBONY Collection, a new collection of historical photos that span the past seven decades. Johnson Rice herself helped choose over 2,000 images from the company’s extensive image archives. Available for the first time, the selection features the work of more than 30 acclaimed African-American photographers who captured intimate moments with some of the most influential figures—including Rosa Parks, Louis Armstrong, Malcolm X, Billie Holiday and Josephine Baker—of the last century. Prints start at $35 and are available for purchase at EBONY.com.
