The new book, A Summer Place[1] (Rizzoli), by lifestyle and design author Tricia Foley, shines a light on the charming and understated community of Bellport, Long Island. The book highlights a mix of modern residences in Bellport that have been designed around water views, 19th-century shingle-style cottages restored for today’s living and artist’s retreats filled with color, pattern and unique style, and the homes and grounds of notable creative tastemakers (from gallerists to designers, editors, architects and actors).
