On October 7, Wheels Up[1]—the membership-based aviation company that makes it easy to book private planes 24 hours a day, seven days a week— revealed a first-of-its-kind pink Beechcraft King Air 350i as part of their #WheelsUpGoesPink campaign to support the Dubin Breast Center of The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai. The private unveiling event, hosted by Wheels Up founder and CEO Kenny Dichter, gave members a first look at the pink plane, which marks the 45th aircraft in the company’s fleet.
This month, Wheels Up has announced a fly-a-thon fundraiser inviting current members to donate (in an amount of their choice) to the Dubin Breast Center for every pink plane revenue hour flown throughout October 1, 2015–September 30, 2016. Members can also make a one-time contribution online at wheelsup.com[2].
Wheels Up will donate a portion of October membership fees to the Dubin Breast Center. If it sounded like a tempting service before, now is the perfect time to sign up and support a great cause.
