The Bay Area’s New Shopping Spot

Open for Business: GANT[1], 552 Hayes Street, San Francisco, CA. 415-437-1949

Atmosphere: Rugged-meets-dandy. These two masculine aesthetics converge in the white-walled, wood-floored store. Preppy basics, like navy blazers[2] and plaid button-downs[3], hang from industrial-inspired pipe and wood fixtures, suspended from the ceiling.

We’re coveting: GANT by Michael Bastian jackets[4]. They are just such a simple way to look stylish – and not to mention perfect for San Francisco weather, year round.

Pièce de résistance: The dressing rooms, which perfectly incorporate GANT’s love of vintage (see the distressed, half-painted doors) with modern, fashionable touches (evident in the frosted glass “G”).
