When it comes to steak, being well aged is important. The same is apparently true of steakhouses—if STK Midtown is any indicator.
On January 30, the cavernous hotspot celebrated its one-year anniversary with a bash that drew bold-faced names including Selita Ebanks, Ice T, Tyson Beckford and many more.
“It’s been quite an amazing year; STK Midtown has definitely hit a sweet note with diners in the area and we continue to grow,” ONE Group Senior VP Celeste Fierro says. “Midtown is still a burgeoning area, and we’ve definitely filled a void. People keep telling us that they can’t get enough of the food, the music and atmosphere.”
That was apparent as some guests filled the tables to enjoy the eatery’s classic cuts and celebratory cocktails while others packed the dance floor. Songstress Taylor Dayne, who performed a trio of songs, brought down the house with her hit “Tell It To My Heart,” and DJ Irie and DJ Marshall provided much of the music for the 1980s-themed celebration.
Why the ’80s? “STK is a fun, edgy and vibrant brand, so we decided on a high-energy 80’s theme to offer people an experience to remember,” Fierro says. And what a night it was.
