Designer Jason Wu hosted a fundraiser and intimate dinner Wednesday night in support of the Young Friends of ACRIA (YFA). Held at the scenic Glass Houses in Chelsea in New York City, guests Diane Kruger, Kate Young and others enjoyed summer cocktails, surrounded by flickering candles and bright yellow floral arrangements. Wu, who was recently appointed as the artistic director for womenswear at HUGO BOSS, unveiled a special charity T-shirt that he created in collaboration with artist and friend Nate Lowman. “I made the T-shirt, but Nate really came up with the design,” Wu explained. “I’ve been such a big fan of his work, so I was really happy when he said he’d do it and working with him felt really natural.” The unisex white shirt displays Lowman’s signature bullet hole print, and 100 percent of the proceeds will help people with HIV/AIDS live longer and healthier lives.
