On September 27, guests gathered at the McKittrick Hotel’s new rooftop garden bar, Gallow Green, to celebrate HBO’s True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgård as the face of Calvin Klein and Coty’s new fragrance, Encounter. Olivia Wilde, who’d arrived—complete with outfit change—from the premiere of her new film Butter, mingled with Calvin Klein Collection’s menswear creative director Italo Zucchelli and NBC’s 30 Rock actor Jack McBrayer at the venue, which boasts sweeping city views and High Line-esque railroad tracks and abandoned train car. Wilde raved about her green-caped Calvin Klein Collection dress from the upcoming resort collection: “Francisco Costa’s clothes are so minimal and bare,” she said. “They really don’t overtake you.”

Following the party, attendees were invited next door to experience a performance of the long-running Sleep No More, a reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Most of the crowd had seen the play already; Wilde had been more than once. “The first time I went, I was pulled into a room by one of the actors and she fed me rock candy,” the actress confessed. “I stayed for two and a half hours.”
