Talk about a well-heeled crowd. On Sept. 5, the Pool Room in New York’s Four Seasons restaurant played host to a fete for shoe designer Brian Atwood for his first-ever boutique at 655 Madison Avenue (it opens Sept. 27). With Nate Berkus, Hannah Bronfman, Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian and BFF Rachel Zoe there to raise a glass, international man-about-town Atwood was also celebrating his first global ad campaign (print and film were shot by Mert & Marcus). In keeping with the—what else?—shoe theme, mixologists from sponsor DeLeon Tequila concocted cocktails bearing names like “The Sex is in the Heel” and “The Atwood.” Guests tossed them back with sushi and late-night cookies as they showed off their sexy Atwood sandals and pumps on the dance floor and partied to tunes spun by DJ Mick Boogie.
