Inside Max Mara and YoungArts’ Backyard Ball

Who doesn’t love dinner and a show?

Presented by Max Mara[1], the National YoungArts Foundation’s[2] Backyard Ball brought some heavy hitters (and dancers, singers and musicians) to the stage on Saturday, January 9. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house after Rosie Perez’s acceptance speech for the 2016 Arison Award, whose recipients also included Robert Wilson, founder of the Watermill Center, and YoungArts alum and Broadway star Tony Yazbeck.

“We both believe in the arts and education,” says Maria Giulia Maramotti, the Italian brand’s North American retail director, who presented the inaugural Max Mara Young Visionary Award. “What an incredible way to start the year.”
