There’s more than just jewelry on display at the Beverly Hills Bulgari[1] store, which will host Wednesday night’s launch party for Vanguard, an online auction of big-ticket contemporary art benefitting the non-profit arts organization LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division[2]), which is committed to curating site- and situation-specific contemporary art projects.
The Paddle8 auction, curated by LAND’s co-founder/director/curator and former Whitney curator Shamim M. Momin, features work from George Condo, Wade Guyton, Tracey Emin, Rita Ackermann and Tauba Auerbach, among many others.
Vanguard will live online here[3] beginning at noon EST and will culminate on May 11 with a live auction at a VIP dinner at Manhattan hot spot Carbone[4] during the upcoming NYC Frieze Art Fair[5].
