Good news for L.A.’s male shopper: re-stocking for spring just got a whole lot simpler. Actually, efficient would be more accurate, because there’s nothing simple about Saks Fifth Avenue’s[1] newly remodeled men’s department-turned-lifestyle shopping destination.
The reopening of the Beverly Hills flagship men’s store, now dubbed The Fifth Man[2], comes just in time for the season’s most in-demand wares to hit the market, and it’s a multi-level one-stop shop for the style-conscious man’s needs, from footwear to grooming to—yes, alcohol.
There’s a bar on the denim floor, fully equipped with a lounge and pool table to boot. On the main level, the shoe shop carries one of the West Coast’s largest offerings, including collections from Paul Smith, Salvatore Ferragamo[3], Alexander McQueen[4], Guiseppe Zanotti and soon Lanvin. And before a night out, customers can opt for a shave or other beauty treatments at John Allan’s Salon[5]. If it’s not here, you might be hard-pressed to find it elsewhere.
The Fifth Man is located at 9600 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA; 310.887.5336.
