Him, Her and Home

Open for Business: Elisabeth Weinstock[1], 8159 W. 3rd Street, West Hollywood, CA

Atmosphere: Worldly, eclectic and simultaneously homey. “It is in a house that was built in 1931 in a commercial area that somehow didn’t get torn down,” the Los Angeles-born designer told DuJour.

The Story: Weinstock’s love of traveling (“I took pieces from many countries and implemented them into my space.”) and also her background as an interior designer (the store is divided into four spaces: a “Dining Room,” “Living Room,” “Man Cave” and “Boudoir”) influenced the boutique’s European-meets-Hollywood vibe. Ooh la la!

We’re coveting: The designer’s own snakeskin bags – especially the travel valet[2] and dopp kit[3]. 

Pièce de résistance: There’s a man cave. Take a look at the photo, at right. Wouldn’t that make you want to shop more?
