Open for Business:
Hermès Beverly Hills, 434 North Rodeo Drive, California 90210
Atmosphere:
White marble panels add dimension and drama to the flagship store’s new façade, designed by Paris firm RDAI. With 12,000 total square feet, three floors and a roof terrace, the flagship’s renovation features a women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections, a jewelry and watch section, made-to-measure fitting area and dedicated tie room.
We’re coveting:
The brand’s full range of silk scarves and leather goods—the entire first floor is devoted to it.
Piece de resistance:
To fete the grand reopening, Hermès is rolling out two calf-skin leather basketballs but skipping out on using its signature orange hue in favor of a bright blue. The limited edition basketballs will still be hand-stitched the same way the brand makes its coveted Birkin bags.
