When the Grace Farms Foundation needed an architect for its 80-acre New Canaan community center, they searched wide. “Our committee looked at 25 firms,” says foundation president Sharon Prince, before settling on Pritzker Prize–winner SANAA, whose designs include NYC’s New Museum. The River Building opens October 9 with artworks by Thomas Demand and Olafur Eliasson on display.
