Dover Street Market New York Gets a Makeover

With every end comes a new beginning. For Dover Street Market, Rei Kawakubo’s seven-story multi-brand fashion shop, that means shutting down and shuffling the curated selection[1] twice a year.

For its latest top-to-bottom changeover, the high-end emporium kept things fresh with brand-new spring/summer 2016 collections[2] from myriad labels like Supreme, Prada, Homme Plus, Gucci, The Row (its first time at DSMNY!) and, of course, all your Comme des Garçons favorites.

But the biannual changeover brings more than just new inventory. Part gallery, part shopping heaven, the space also reopened with new conversation-starting installations (think: walls decked out in flowers and columns covered in multi-colored fabric).  Très chic!
