While most East End restaurants close in the autumn, some of the area’s best eateries are keeping the stoves on year round. One such spot is Bridgehampton’s Topping Rose House (1 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike; toppingrosehouse.com), which serves three farm-sourced meals a day every day and also boasts 22 guest rooms, a stunning pool and a Naturopathica spa. Nick & Toni’s (136 North Main Street; nickandtonis.com) is another all-year favorite for East Enders who clamor for the baked clams, thin-crust pizza and tender roast chicken.
East Hampton hotel c/o the Maidstone (207 Main Street; themaidstone.com) offers Scandinavian fare—don’t miss the Swedish meatballs—to fans like Hugh Jackman and Billy Joel. While summer might be high season in the Hamptons, there’s really never a bad time to visit for a truly fantastic meal.
