Christina Ricci Creates Her Perfect Makeup Bag

For her first design assignment, actress Christina Ricci has created a studded, geometric-print Remix makeup bag for Make Up For Ever[1], which will debut in Los Angeles on February 1.

The cosmetics brand is launching a nine-city tour aimed at educating consumers on how to apply their own makeup. The first stop will be Los Angeles, and 30-minute one-on-one makeup bag evaluation appointments are available (they’re bookable now via Facebook[2]). Christina’s bag will be available to consumers via the tour and then on Sephora[3] immediately after.  

“I loved collaborating on a custom makeup bag because I got to design something that actually holds everything I need on-the-go,” explains Ricci, a longtime fan of the brand. “My inspiration for the bag was hard-rock-meets-couture, and I added a red lip motif to the geometric design since I love wearing red lipstick. Plus, I thought it would add a fun pop of color.”
