At last night’s 2019 primetime Emmy Awards, actress and singer Mandy Moore looked stunning wearing a custom-designed Brandon Maxwell gown. The Emmy-nominated starlet exuded confidence from the moment she stepped onto the purple carpet, and even more-so when she ran into her This Is Us co-star Susan Kelechi Watson and laughed about their twinning moment, both donning red and pink color-blocked dresses.
Moore’s purple carpet style was perfection, but her beauty look for the evening was beyond flawless. Moore’s makeup artist Jenn Streicher created a classic look by putting skincare at the forefront. “Skin is always a top priority before applying makeup. I started with microcurrent from the NuFACE FIX device. I applied the NuFACE FIX serum and used a feathering motion to smooth away any fine lines,” Streicher says of the first step to achieving Moore’s look.
Aiming for timeless, American glamour, Streicher used Cindy Crawford in the 90’s Pepsi Commercial as her main inspiration. After using the microcurrent device from NuFace Fix, Streicher applied The Route Beauty’s “The Everything Day™” moisturizer followed by “The Girlfriend™” skin-loving glow primer. The Route Beauty products are founded in the notion that skincare before any beauty routine is key. The Everything Day multi-tasking moisturizer helps refine pores, brighten skin, and protect your skin for 24 hours. The Girlfriend primer is a hybrid product that combats fine lines, calms skin, and boosts complexion.
Streicher applied Moore’s makeup after this stellar skincare routine and the result was a glowing look with timeless glamour at the 71st Emmy Awards.
