11:30am We always walk to the fair. It’s the only way to properly explore a city and it gives me a chance to go through today’s program with my colleague, Jonas.
12:10pm First meeting at Pitti Uomo is with our Neapolitan shirt maker Fabio to review his latest fabric collections.
1:20pm Catching up with Kent from Brunello Cucinelli.
2:35pm Thinking about some new editions for next winter. Bespoke Swedish glove maker Hestra has some remarkable things.
3:40pm It’s always a pleasure chatting with Monroe Robertson, who oversees U.S. brand operations for Jeffery-West.
5:20pm The Fortezza da Basso is the main square. It’s great for people watching and catching up with friends.
6:15pm After the fair, we found time for some shopping. My favorite porcelain manufacturer Ginori has been producing in Florence since 1735.
8:45pm And of course, before dinner, a glass of Amarone at Enoteca Obsequium.
11:30pm And lastly, a night cap at Harry's Bar in Florence.
