7:30 AM: I always start my day at Sullivan Street Bakery. They have a few locations around the city, and they are known for their delicious bread. I get a simple drip coffee with half-and-half, and my usual croissant for my walk to work. It’s cold out today, so I make sure to bundle up with a jacket and a scarf for my morning commute.

8:00 AM: After a brisk walk, I finally arrive at the photoshoot location. I love being on set with everyone for a shoot day. I love the energy in the room, and of course working with the models. The fashion always catches my eye on shoots. Most people do not realize just how much goes into styling on set. There are always outfit changes, styling swaps and tons of accessories. It never gets old seeing all the shoes and handbags all lined up like soldiers ready for battle!

10:00 AM: Today I have the pleasure of working with Katie Holmes. To create the look today, I use Oribe Très Set Sculpture Spray and Supershine Moisturizing Cream. Right now, I am loving the look of super shiny, healthy hair. I get right to work on her hair creating something super expensive looking and feeling.

11:00 AM: I capture some behind-the-scenes footage on the shoot, watching the magic happen. You can see it is always a tight fit in the room. It takes so many creative and talented people behind the camera to create those final images. I’m usually always behind the photographer to check on hair and if it needs to be fixed in any way.

6:00 PM: After a long day on set, I head downtown to Pier 17 to begin my busy evening. My first stop is the Tin Building, a new food hall by Jean-Georges Vongerichten . I met my good friend milliner Gigi Burris for dinner and we indulge in oysters and fish and chips. Her studio is nearby, so it was easy to plan this last minute catch-up. As always, it is such a treat to see her.

8:00 PM: After dinner, I head out for the last leg of my evening. I head back up town to Joe’s Pub to see a performance by Justin Vivian Bond with a friend. My friend is someone with a talent for finding those special New York City activities that make it fun to live here. He had an extra ticket and, of course, I could not refuse. It was such a fun night enjoying good company and good music.

11:00 PM: After a busy day, I head home to my apartment and get ready for bed. After a long day, my skin needs some extra love before going to sleep. Right before I tuck in for the night I use the Omnilux Red LED Light followed by BioEffect EGF Power Cream. I have been loving this routine before bed, and I always manage to wake up with a glow. After the quick and easy 10-minute treatment, it’s lights out for me. Goodnight!
