The New Trend in Tying the Knot for Millennials

PopBliss hosts luxury group pop-up weddings

What if your dream, Instagram-worthy wedding came to life without the months (or years) of planning? It may sound nearly impossible, but thanks to PopBliss, a luxury group pop-up wedding planning brand presented by R. Kristi Modern Hospitality, the road to “I do” is now virtually stress-free.

This March, PopBliss will give 10 couples the ultimate trip down the aisle at a secret location in New York City during a two-day group-wedding extravaganza. Brides and grooms-to-be just show up in their desired outfits, and the rest—like music, catering and décor—is taken care of.

“Who wants to spend 12 or 14 months planning a wedding these days?” asked PopBliss founder and wedding expert Racquel Kristi. “We take information from our selected couples and use that to inspire what we create as the celebration. It’s all about the experience rather than the stress of the day.”

Here’s the inside scoop on the out-of-the-box nuptials taking place on March 30-31.

The details:

It’s a two-day celebration and the package costs $5,000 per couple. The first day begins with couples arriving and getting settled into a hotel. Sponsors will be hosting activities during the day and a welcome party is planned for the evening. The following morning is wedding day! It starts with brunch—one for the ladies and one for the gentlemen. After brunch, brides and grooms are escorted to their glam suites where stylists will provide the ultimate treatment. Then it’s off to the venue—which remains a secret up until this point—where couples will walk down the aisle, exchange personal vows during a group ceremony and celebrate during the group reception.

Couples are able to invite 14 guests collectively. There will be a live stream available for friends and family who would like to tune in.

Who is eligible:

Any couple that is looking for adventure, something new and fresh is encouraged to apply.

How to apply:

Couples fill out a short request form on the PopBliss website. A representative will call them to get a first touch of their personality. After the short call, couples moving on to the next step will be asked to submit a video answering a few questions. After receiving the video, the PopBliss team will begin the first of three rounds of selection. Decisions will be made in February.

Applications for the March 2016 celebration are still being accepted, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique experience.
