Who says only the Kardashians[1] of the world profit from the Twitterverse?

Winfrey (ever the diligent Weight Watchers[2] spokeswoman) took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a video about her weight-loss journey with the company. The 30-second clip[3]—captioned “Eat bread. Lose weight. Whaaatttt? #ComeJoinMe”—portrays an enthusiastic Winfrey proclaiming her love for bread.

“I have lost 26 pounds,” she says in the clip. “And I have eaten bread every single day.”

The tweet reportedly earned Winfrey a multi-million dollar payday—$12 million to be exact. Let that sink in for a moment. Once the post was shared with Winfrey’s over 30 million followers, Weight Watchers’ stock soared more than 16% (about $2 per share) and since the queen herself owns roughly 6 million shares, she scored $12 million in just over an hour.

There you have it, folks. Time to start leveraging your Twitter account.
