Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts introduces a unique driving experience in three of the world’s most famous supercars

Car enthusiasts rejoice! Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has launched a program more akin to the road trip of a lifetime than a simple joyride. The Waldorf Astoria Driving Experiences allow lucky hotel guests to sit behind the wheels of three of the world’s most famous supercars: the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider, the McLaren MP4-12C and the Porsche 911 Turbo. Guided by professional racing champion Didier Theys, each experience, priced at $999 per couple, includes a pre-arranged driving course past historic landmarks in participating cities.

The program, available at six Waldorf Astoria locations, started its engine in Park City, Utah, followed by exhilarating tours in Palm Springs, California and Scottsdale, Arizona. Fast car thrill-seekers can still give the experience a try during upcoming drives in New Orleans from November 6th through the 11th, Boca Raton from November 14th through the 19th and Phoenix from December 2nd to the 7th.  Drivers in Phoenix will witness the city’s iconic desert landscape, small towns, lakeside views and geologic formations. In Boca Raton, drivers will travel north along the Atlantic coastline towards West Palm Beach, passing through its famous retail and entertainment districts.

Can’t make any of the above drives? Keep your seatbelt on—the program will roll out to international markets in 2015.
