Stroke of Genius

A French maison’s hand-crafted putters are the hautest on the green

ValGrine is breaking the “stodgy golfer[1]” stereotype with putters that take inspiration from French architecture, boating and watchmaking.

Each club in the Demi-Maillet Cupidon collection (in orange, black and blue, above; $5,580) has a hand-carved aluminum head and calfskin grip.

Clubs in the Pièce Unique collection (gold putter with custom engraving, above; $10,933) are the result of a collaboration between the owner and ValGrine’s artisans.

For golfers[2] seeking the ultimate extravagance, the Haute Création line features putters with bespoke diamond settings and exotic leathers (starting at $22,127).
