Gilt Groupe’s founding CEO, Alexis Maybank, introduces Project September, a beautifully immersive digital shopping experience. Created alongside Chief Design Officer Leah Park and Chief Technology Officer Dustin Whitney, the app allows users to instantly purchase an item simply by tapping an image.
Named after the start of the fashion calendar, the app’s elegant aesthetic offers a design similar to a digital magazine, except the images are directly shoppable. Connecting users from all platforms—including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter—shoppers will be able to buy whenever, wherever.
Christy Turlington, Nicole Richie and Nina Garcia, among others, have announced their official positions as fashion advisors to the app, offering their elegant tastemaker insights. Users also have the chance to create stylist profiles to utilize this innovative platform to showcase their eye for expert curation.
Project September is now available for download through the Apple app store.
