In the saturated Miami dining scene, the thirst for the next hotspot is never quenched and restaurants flame out as quickly as they come. So, although Michael Martin’s Villa Azur, an ever-trendy lounge serving opulent décor and upscale French-Mediterranean fare, just turned five years old, in Miami restaurant years, it’s already a bona-fide South Beach institution.
More than 500 VIP guests attended Villa Azur’s five-year birthday bash, taking in a culinary and optical feast featuring signature white asparagus hors d’oeuvres (to match the all-white dress code) and party performers walking on LED stilts.
