The Elephant Parade
Every September, dozens of life-size sculptures of elephants will take up residence at The Resorts at Dana Point in a bid to raise awareness about the plight of the endangered Asian elephant. Known collectively as the Elephant Parade, the fiberglass herd features the decorative handiwork of celebrities like Katy Perry, Goldie Hawn and Diane von Furstenberg.

Founded in 1936, the Bowers Museum reopened in 1992 as a cultural center with a 30,000-square-foot expansion and a kids-focused Kidseum. The museum’s program includes an extensive collection of pre-Columbian art, Native American and African art.
