Super Bowl 50 descended on San Francisco and the Bay Area with a week of buildup, events and celebrations culminating in Sunday’s win by the Denver Broncos against the Carolina Panthers, 24 to 10. The high score, however, went to The Giving Back Fund[1]’s Big Game Big Give red carpet event and fundraiser on Saturday evening, with a $1 million-zero win being distributed between a group of charities including the Four Rings Montana Family Foundation, The Giving Back Fund, the Stanford Cancer Institute and Do It For The Love.

The private Atherton estate of Jillian Manus played host to the festivities, complete with a seal tank constructed outside the front door and a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge inside the main tent, which housed gourmet bites by The Slanted Door, Stones Throw, La Folie and Hog Island Oyster Co. Joe Montana, baseball legend Matt Williams and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom co-hosted the California-themed event, Jay Leno served as emcee and Michael Franti entertained the crowd with a live acoustic performance.

The over 500 celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, tech giants, philanthropists and notables in attendance included musician Tommy Lee, jewelry designer Martin Katz, Trevor Traina, Marissa Mayer, Zachary Bogue, Monty Geer and former Super Bowl champions Keena Turner and Randy Cross, among others.
