Preview a True NYC Evening of Art, Music and More

See what’s in store at this year’s Aperture Foundation Benefit

Tonight, October 26th, the Aperture Foundation will host its annual foundation benefit, The Ballad, Live. The evening will honor the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of The Ballad of Sexual Dependency and bring the community together under one roof and on one dance floor.

The Aperture Foundation was founded by Ansel Adams, Minor White and Dorthea Lang, to name a few. They had a vision to unite a community of photography enthusiasts to bring the current work of their peers to the industry at large. Aperture has continued to publish some of the leading photography books, a magazine for their loyal base and house world-renowned expeditions in their gallery space.

Aperture will be welcoming live musical performers Laurie Anderson, Martha Wainwright, Samuel Rohrer, Pat Irwin and The Bush Tetras, along with DJ sets by Bob Gruen and Mick Rock.
